Simple Herb Extract SLASHES Autoimmune Risks

I think we can all agree that having a strong immune system is a GOOD thing.

But sometimes that immune system backfires and starts attacking YOUR BODY.

This process is called autoimmunity and various diseases fall under its umbrella, including rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s, psoriatic arthritis, type 1 diabetes, and celiac.

But the actual underlying CAUSE of these autoimmune conditions remains a bit of a mystery.

Well, perhaps until now, that is…

A group of researchers from Osaka University may have just revealed the mysterious trigger behind autoimmune disease.

In fact, their study, published in the journal Science Immunology, not only points to an underlying cause of autoimmunity but also to a way to treat it.

The researchers uncovered two proteins that play a role in accelerating autoimmunity:

  • COMMD3
  • COMMD8

Plus, they found that a compound extracted from the herb Thunder God Vine (Tripterygium wilfordii) BLOCKS those same proteins.

You likely haven’t heard of Thunder God Vine, before. But the herb has been used for hundreds of years to tackle inflammatory conditions. Which is probably why the scientists tested it.

The researchers extracted a compound called celastrol from the vine which animal experiments then revealed blocks COMMD3 and COMMD8 from causing runaway inflammation in the body.

More studies need to be done in humans this time, of course. But it appears that scientists have uncovered a simple way to reduce the risk of autoimmune diseases that’s safe, affordable, and effective.

Plus, natural inflammation-fighting Thunder God Vine is ALREADY widely available as a supplement.

But why STOP there? Inflammation also lies at the heart of countless other diseases.

In fact, if you were going to pick a single trigger for almost every modern disease we face today, chronic long-term inflammation would be a good candidate. It wreaks havoc on your body, damages cells, tissues, and organs.

So it’s not JUST autoimmune diseases. You can potentially dial-down your risks for hundreds of OTHER illnesses by taking more inflammation-calming steps:

  • Consider other powerful natural anti-inflammatory supplements including fish oil, curcumin, Boswellia, and others.
  • Exercise is a great way to keep inflammation in check. It briefly increases inflammation for about an hour but then it plummets to very low levels leading to an overall decrease.
  • Avoid ultra-processed foods which are brimming with added sugars and vegetable oils which send inflammation levels soaring.
  • Eat more inflammation-calming fresh veggies.
  • Your immune system controls inflammation and is closely tied to the health of your digestive tract. Make sure you’re getting enough healthy bacteria by taking a good probiotic.

And another thing…
