This Drink Could DESTROY Your Liver [ALERT]

People often ask me what’s the WORST thing for their health.

Cigarettes, alcohol, and illegal drugs often pop to mind.

But everyone KNOWS those things are bad.

But there’s in fact, a popular “harmless” daily habit that has HUGE health consequences.

And it can be every bit as bad as a cigarette or booze habit.

Yet, most folks have NO clue they’re putting themselves in harm’s way.

The culprit is soda (and other sugary drinks). The victim is your liver. And once you learn one sobering fact, it’s easy to see why.

Your blood can only hold about a teaspoon of sugar and remain in a HEALTHY range (generally, below 90 mg/dl). But one 12-ounce soda contains about 10 teaspoons.

Your body has to do something with all that extra sugar.

This brings us to a new study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

Researchers linked sugar-sweetened beverages to a rise in chronic liver disease and cancer risk. And we’re not talking about a little rise, either.

Women who drank one or more sugar-sweetened beverages daily had an astounding 85 percent higher risk of liver cancer and a 68 percent higher risk of chronic liver disease.

The reason why is simple. Your unlucky liver is the organ responsible for dealing with all that extra sugar.

When it floods your body, your liver has to decide what to do with it. The most common outcome is converting it into fat.

This can increase belly and body fat. But a lot of it simply backs up into the liver. And THAT’S a problem.

You see, fat sends inflammation levels soaring. And that’s precisely what it does to the liver.

It interferes with the organ’s ability to do its job efficiently, sending the risk for liver disease and liver cancer climbing.

Do yourself… and your liver… a favor and KICK the soda habit TODAY!

P.S. Cases of silent but deadly non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) are through the roof. For extra protection, consider these six all-natural nutrients, PROVEN fatty liver fighters.
