Colon Cancer “Cover-Up” Puts YOU at Risk
Colon cancer is a serious disease with a disturbingly high death rate.
It kills nearly 1,000 Americans weekly.
And now we’re faced with a NEW troubling trend.
The disease is striking some folks earlier than ever before.
That means we’re ALL at risk for colon cancer REGARDLESS of age.
But what mainstream medicine… and the media… fail to explain is you can SLASH your risk for this devastating disease by taking two simple steps.
Why the silence? You’ll be FURIOUS when you find out.
There are two driving factors behind many colorectal cancer cases. And it’s no coincidence that BOTH have powerful industries protecting them.
The first is Big Food. The industry’s ultra-processed foods have taken over the American diet.
In fact, it’s estimated that in 2024 Big Food will make around $313 BILLION dollars in revenue on confectionaries and snacks ALONE. And soft drink sales passed $42 billion in 2023.
Full of chemical coloring agents, preservatives, flavor enhancers, and more, these low-nutrition foods are RUINING our health. But one of the most dangerous culprits is the added SUGARS.
A recent study concluded that a high-sugar diet (like far too many Americans eat) is linked to colorectal cancer.
Researchers found that eating fructose in general… and sugar-sweetened beverages such as soda and juice drinks in particular… sends your odds of developing the disease skyrocketing.
Every daily serving increases the overall risk of…
- proximal colon cancer by another 18 percent, and
- death from the disease by an additional 39 percent.
But this study was published TWO YEARS ago now… and the silence is deafening.
Big Food clearly has deep pockets and a lot of powerful friends in the right places. But they aren’t the only ones ruining our guts and getting away with it. Big Pharma is also getting away with murder.
Antibiotics can cause lasting… and in some cases permanent… changes to your gut flora. In fact, a study a few years ago found taking too many of these drugs could increase the odds of colon cancer by as much as 49 percent.
Clearly, you’re not going to hear about these colon cancer risk factors from mainstream medicine or the media. But that doesn’t make them any less dangerous. So, you MUST take steps to protect yourself against this killer.
Start by doing your best to avoid ultra-processed foods.
Ditch the soda and cut out the sweet snacks. Try brewing up some flavored iced tea to replace the soda. Or opt for refreshing water instead. And nuts and berries are great choices to satisfy snack attacks.
When you eliminate all those chemical additives from your diet, you’ll slash your risk of colorectal cancer and plenty of other health nightmares, too.
Next be conservative when it comes to antibiotics. Of course, if you actually need them take them. But they’re often overused. In fact, 1 in 3 antibiotics prescriptions are unnecessary—adding up to 47million unneeded prescriptions yearly.
Talk to your doctor whenever he prescribes antibiotics. Ask if you can hold off on filling the prescription to see if the infection clears on its own or try another natural option first.
And if it turns out you do need the drugs, take a probiotic during and after to help limit their damage.
P.S. Check out my earlier report, “SUPERCHARGE Your Immune System and SKIP the Antibiotics” for some potent antibiotic alternatives.
