FINALLY an Exercise Routine You Can LOVE
Bored to tears by repetitive trips to the gym?
Rather walk across hot coals that try another one of the frantic routines presented by perky fitness gurus on TV?
Do long walks on the treadmill feel about as thrilling as watching paint dry?
New research reveals the answer to your workout prayers…
Strap on your dancing shoes because science says shaking your groove thang could be the boredom-busting exercise you’ve been looking for!
A new study confirms what free spirits have known all along…
Nothing gets your heart pumping and works up a sweat quite like getting funky on the dance floor.
Researchers analyzed data from 10 studies that included 646 overweight people. Their research revealed that dance is a very effective exercise for changing the way your body looks.
Interestingly, body composition changed the MOST in people who danced more creatively than those who danced something like a standard two-step.
So, my “prescription” for slimming down and firming up is to be imaginative when you dance.
And should someone walk in on you creatively cutting a rug, don’t be embarrassed. Just tell them, “Dr. Scott told me I had to!”
However, changing your body composition is only ONE of the benefits you’ll get from incorporating dance into your daily exercise routine. Researchers have ALSO discovered that dance has a positive impact on…
- blood pressure,
- insulin sensitivity,
- physical fitness,
- cognitive capabilities,
- and mental health.
Plus, dance can help you manage various health issues, including diabetes, gallstones, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases.
So, the next time you need to exercise but can’t muster the motivation, forget the gym and bust out your best dance moves instead!
The key to dancing for fitness, just like any exercise, is consistency. But don’t worry, you don’t have to live at the disco. Dance around the dining room table instead.
Just remember to start slow and skip the complicated dance steps for now. Leave the flashy spins and fancy dips to the pros… until your body gets used to moving more.
Now, let’s get this dance party started!
P.S. “Hobby Hack” keeps your brain fit for LIFE!
