Stop Seasonal Allergies with This STRANGE Hay Fever Fix

No, it’s NOT your imagination. Seasonal allergies ARE hitting earlier, lasting longer, and affecting more folks than ever before.

As spring begins a lot of us are going to soon be slammed by hay fever—that is if you haven’t been sniffling and sneezing already. And for popular OTC allergy drugs—like Allegra and Claritin—sales are poised to shoot through the roof.

However, as you transform into an eye-watering MESS and start popping allergy pills like breath mints there’s one thing you should know.

If you regularly battle hay fever you have another NATURAL option…

Since 1970 the average growing season in the USA now lasts anywhere from 14 to 16 days longer in the Northeast, Southeast, and South.

Out West it’s even worse, with allergy season lasting 27 days longer on average.

So, if you’re among the 42 percent of Americans who battle seasonal allergies you’re spending more time than ever feeling miserable.

Symptoms such as itchy eyes, a stuffy nose, and sneezing occur when your immune system overreacts to pollen. But scientists say that’s not the ONLY factor at play.

They’ve pinpointed another surprising trigger for seasonal allergies—the bacteria in your gut and nose.

Researchers uncovered a SIGNIFICANT difference in the microbiomes of folks who have allergy symptoms and those who don’t.

It boils down to diversity, which is a measure of how many different TYPES of microorganisms are present.

People with reduced diversity have increased inflammation levels throughout their body. And higher inflammation typically leads to stronger symptoms when exposed to pollen.

Plus, the less diverse your nasal microbiome is, the more likely you are to have hay fever in the first place.

Unfortunately, although research is being done, currently, there’s no easy way to change your nasal microbiome.

But the good news is that studies show supplementing with healthy bacteria CAN dial down overall inflammation and calm your seasonal allergies.

Low levels of the bacterial strains Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus specifically have been linked to hay fever. And those same good bugs could reduce the chances of your lungs overreacting (airway hyperresponsiveness) to pollen and other allergens.

Look for a quality probiotic from a manufacturer you trust. My earlier report, Probiotics 101: How to pick the right supplement, can help.

And be sure to include plenty of fermented foods in your diet, such as unpasteurized sauerkraut and pickles, and yogurt. (And for the more adventurous: miso, natto, and kimchi.)

Don’t allow seasonal allergies to ruin your spring and summer EVER again.

P.S. Try these powerful (and EASY!) techniques to keep your microbiome healthy.
