Are You Eating the WRONG Type of Salt?

The government has been spewing bad nutritional advice for years.

They’ve told us to stay away from brain-protective eggs and heart-boosting butter… and they’ve even told us to eat MORE cancer-causing carbs.

But that’s not the worst of it.

They’ve told you that eating salt is ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN.

Well, I’m here to tell you this is BAD diet advice.

Adding salt to your diet can help actually help your health.

But you have to get the RIGHT kind.

You’ve heard it a million times: “Americans eat too much salt.”

I’m going to almost agree: we eat too much of the WRONG SALT.

Table salt (the kind you find in most grocery stores) is not what you want to be putting in your body.

Why?

Maybe you have heard our seas are full of plastic? That plastic is churned into microscopic grains by ocean action and the sun. This creates microplastics.

And since lots of commercially sold salt is taken from the ocean, it likely has those microplastics in it. And ingesting these tiny toxins can mess with your heart, liver, and hormones.

So when you go out to eat… take home a frozen meal… you are likely eating salt riddled with health-destroying chemicals.

However, mined salt has no plastic in it because it comes from the earth.

And when you get plenty of this type of salt, it can do wonders for your blood pressure.

Many studies show that there is no connection between high blood pressure and naturally mined salt.

Not even a little bit. In fact, salt can even IMPROVE your heart problems.

But salt’s benefits don’t stop there:

  • Real salt contains trace minerals you cannot find in any food you eat
  • Salt balances water in your body and keeps you from being dehydrated
  • Certain natural salts – like Himalayan salt – can increase sex drive
  • And salt also helps to increase energy and improve sleep.

But before you rush to your salt shaker, know this: the type of salt matters.

I prefer Himalayan or Celtic salt, and Real Salt by Redmond. You pick these up at your local grocery store.
