Bedroom Habit DOUBLES Your Memory Loss Risk

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

It’s one of the worst things that can happen to you if you’re a senior.

You flip through your photo album, looking at all of the beautiful pictures of trips and christenings and graduations when suddenly you realize…

I don’t remember any of this.

Dementia can destroy your life, robbing you of your memories and eventually your independence.

And unfortunately, you could unknowingly be increasing your risk.

Researchers have uncovered a bad habit that can DOUBLE your risk of memory loss…

But once you know what it is, you can put a stop to it immediately.

If you sleep nine or more hours a night, you could be DOUBLING your risk of dementia.

Researchers at Boston University Medical Center examined data from 2,457 participants and found that people who slept nine or more hours a night had TWICE the risk of developing dementia than those who slept less than nine hours.

And despite what you might think, sleeping more could not only just be the cause… it could also be a sign you’re developing Alzheimer’s disease.

If you consistently need more than nine hours of sleep, this may indicate you’re slowly losing your memory.

If you need a lot of sleep (or even if you don’t), NOW is the time to take care of your brain.

Let me show you how.

Dr. Scott’s Keys to a Healthy Brain

  • Eat a diet high in vegetables and good proteins. Make sure you eat a vegetable at every meal and choose wild or free-range meats when you can.
  • Avoid processed foods and foods with too much sugar and vegetable oils. These increase inflammation in the body, which is deadly to your brain. I like to replace vegetable oil with olive or avocado oil the most, but you can also use butter.
  • Keep your blood sugar under control. Blood sugar and brain health are closely tied. If you need help controlling blood sugar, try a chromium or berberine supplement.
  • Eat good fats. The very best fat you can put in your body is omega-3 fatty acids, like those found in fish oil. Not only does your brain need these oils to build a healthy brain, fish oils also tamp down runaway inflammation.
  • Exercise. There is not a single thing that is better for your brain than exercise. Get out and move your body every day.

P.S. Looking for another way to defeat dementia? Look no further than this simple “fruit secret.”
