Big Pharma’s SHOCKING Alzheimer’s Confession

I never thought the day would come… but Big Pharma is FINALLY admitting they don’t know how to treat Alzheimer’s.

Let’s not give these guys TOO much credit for honesty.

They’re still REFUSING to admit that the current Alzheimer’s drugs on the market don’t work (and they don’t).

But there have been several news stories over the past few weeks about major drug companies giving up the search for an Alzheimer’s cure.

Of course, that’s not all bad news…

I’m sure you’ve heard the expression that you can learn a lot from failure. That’s something I tell my own kids.

And by understanding WHY Big Pharma failed to cure Alzheimer’s, you can learn the single best way to make sure you NEVER get the disease.

A new case of Alzheimer’s is diagnosed every 66 seconds in America.

Despite the obvious crisis (and the potential for huge profits) there have been no new treatments available for Alzheimer's disease in over a decade.

Most of the drugs used now for Alzheimer's only help with the side effects (such as anxiety), but they don’t do a thing to reverse the disease itself.

Drug companies like Eli Lilly, Axovant, Merck, Biogen, and Prana Biotech have all been in the news lately because they all reported similar failures in drugs to stop the plaque formation that causes Alzheimer’s.

They have spent billions of dollars and have nothing to show for it.

The problems?

  • Alzheimer's takes years to show up. People have the disease for many years, but there are no obvious symptoms. By the time Alzheimer’s is diagnosed, there’s already a lot of damage.
  • There is no good method to tell if someone has early stage Alzheimer's.
  • Both of these problems make it really hard to select patients for clinical trials.

But the real problem is: the search for a silver-bullet approach to Alzheimer’s is ABSOLUTELY THE WRONG APPROACH.

With Alzheimer’s, several different problems are happening in your brain simultaneously.

There’s never going to be one pill that addresses them all. Never.

You need a complete, multi-pronged approach for stopping Alzheimer’s in its tracks.

Here are some brain-protecting supplements you should focus on:

Dr. Scott’s Brain Protection Plan:

  • Creatine is an amino acid that is good for the brain and helps support energy production.
  • Omega 3 fish oil is an essential fatty acid your brain needs to support its function and protect against oxidation.
  • CoQ10 is a powerful antioxidant and helps to provide energy throughout the body, including your brain cells.
  • Antioxidants can be vitamins such as vitamin A and vitamin C, but I especially like the phytonutrients (polyphenols, carotenes, etc.) found in superfood combinations. They provide powerful protection for your brain.
  • Herbs such as curcumin and bacopa work to decrease inflammation and act as effective antioxidants.
  • Mitochondrial Support is essential for brain health. The energy-producing centers of our cells (mitochondria) need certain nutrients (like alpha lipoic acid, astaxanthin, selenium, and vitamin E) to keep our brains working well throughout our lives.
