Bizarre Migraine Trigger FOUND (Shocking!)

If you’re anything like me, it’s probably hard to be surprised anymore.

Because if you’ve lived long enough, you’ve seen it all.

Billionaires flying to space… a deadly virus that spread around the world in a few months… cars that can drive themselves… what a world we live in!

Yet every now and then, I can STILL be shocked by something… and that’s exactly how I felt when this new study came across my desk.

Researchers have found a BIZARRE trigger for migraines.

But thankfully, there’s a solution… and it’s, at least, completely normal!

My patient Maxine told me that people thought she was crazy because she could predict the weather.

“Really?” I asked. “How do you know if the weather is going to change?”

“Easy,” she said. “I always get a migraine.”

And now new research shows Maxine may not be crazy after all.

In a recent study, a group of researchers compared weather data with hospitalizations for migraine.

And they found that even slight changes in atmospheric pressure caused people to have migraines!

In some cases, all it took was a change in humidity for folks to be in pain.

But here’s the thing to remember: changes in weather usually don’t act alone. If you’re controlling your other triggers, like diet, stress, and sleep habits, then you’re less likely to be affected by the weather.

So, if you really want to control your migraines, here are some great ideas.

· Riboflavin or vitamin B2. Taking a high dose (200mg a day) of vitamin B2 has been used for many years, and has been shown to reduce both frequency and duration of a migraine.

· Magnesium. This mineral is essential for nerve function, blood sugar control, muscle relaxation, and it also helps with migraines. I prefer magnesium threonate (or L-threonate) which is not only good for migraines, but also good for brain health and cognition. Aim for between 400-600mg a day.
