Busted! PROOF Statins Are a RIP-OFF

I’d call cholesterol-lowering statins the biggest joke in medicine.

Except the joke is on all of us… and I don’t find that funny at all.

For decades, Big Pharma and mainstream doctors have pushed the same lie about statins.

They’ve told us these pills were saving our lives… preventing us from dropping dead from heart attacks.

But here’s the truth they NEVER wanted you to hear…

There’s only about a 2% chance that your statins EVER did you any good.

And your odds are getting MUCH worse by the day.

You ever go to a youth sports event and buy one of those 50-50 tickets?

There are 40 or 50 other folks buying tickets… and you never seem to win.

Well, when it comes to statins, you’re probably not a “winner” either.

Here’s what I mean by that…

Scientists use something called “the number to treat” to determine whether a drug is useful or not. The mathematical formula calculates the number of people doctors would need to treat to see a benefit.

Under old statins guidelines, you had to treat 40 people… yes, 40 PEOPLE… to prevent ONE serious heart attack.

So you basically had about a 2% chance of benefiting… and nearly a 98% chance you wouldn’t.

That’s appalling – and practically criminal. But, believe it or not, it’s only gotten worse.

You see, drug companies sponsored a bunch of studies and (with the help of the American Heart Association) changed the guidelines.

The goal was to get MILLIONS of more people on statins… and, in the process, there are now MILLIONS of people (including probably you or someone you love) getting ZERO BENEFIT.

You now have to TREAT 400 PEOPLE TO PREVENT ONE SERIOUS HEART ATTACK.

The other 399 people… you know, the ones NOT BENEFITING? They are Big Pharma collateral damage.

Statins have serious side effects such as muscle pain, elevated risk of developing type 2 diabetes, memory problems, and lots more.

It seems to me that you are MUCH more likely to suffer a side effect than to be the lucky S.O.B. who avoids a heart attack.

And, as I’ve told you before, I think the cholesterol risk is overblown and that statins can be quite bad for your heart.

Statins deplete your body of CoQ10 (a necessary nutrient for heart health).

Most people on statins don’t need them… and there’s a VERY good chance you are one of those people.

If you are taking statins, schedule a serious talk with your doctor… and don’t be afraid to get a second opinion.
