Cast Off Diabetes with This Holiday Treat

Food IS medicine.

I truly believe that.

The powerful compounds found in everyday foods can help you live a longer and healthier life.

Turmeric kills cancer… mushrooms stop Alzheimer’s… and carrots actually do stop vision loss.

Now, it looks like Mother Nature has a food cure for diabetes, too.

The only problem? You’ve been told to avoid it this delicious holiday treat

Nothing tastes better than a piece of chocolate at the end of hard day… or after a good meal… or even with a glass of red wine.

And now you have even more reason to indulge in this decadent dessert.

In a new studyUniversity of Illinois researchers tested three compounds found in cocoa beans – called protocatechuic acid, epicatechin, and procyanidin B2 – on the fat cells and immune cells of mice.

At the end, they found that these powerful molecules significantly lowered inflammation and improved insulin resistance – two if the key drivers of diabetes

Even better? The compounds also REPAIRED damaged mitochondria.

You see, your mitochondria are the energy centers of your cells. And when you have excess fat, it increases the exact type of inflammation that damages your mitochondria and messes with your metabolism.

Fortunately, these powerhouse compounds are able to BLOCK and REVERSE that type of damage… and even burn off the extra fat that’s causing it in the first place.

This means adding more chocolate to your diet might be the BEST way to NEVER get diabetes.

But eating just any type of chocolate won’t help you.

You need to get the good stuff… the darkest chocolate you can handleI recommend 70 percent or more.

Dark chocolate contains less diabetes-causing sugar and more of these blood sugarstabilizing compounds.

So indulge this holiday season… just make sure it’s with the right type of chocolate.

P.S. Remember how I mentioned the right kind of chocolate can help with diabetes? That’s because the WRONG kind of certain treats can cook up a recipe for disaster when it comes to diabetes, especially this toxic ingredient. Find out what it is here and make sure you avoid it when you can.
