Common Cooking Oil WARPS Your Brain!?

Vegetable oils are cheap, readily available, and convenient.

In fact, their versatility means you can use them for frying, sautéing, AND baking.

They’ve made their way into our homes and onto our plates because we’ve been assured they’re the HEALTHY choice.

But underneath that innocent reputation is a disturbing TRUTH. And now scientists say one of the MOST popular is hiding a risk to your brain health in every drop.

Vegetable oils made from soybean, corn, sunflower, palm, and canola, are incredibly popular.

But a stack of research reveals they have a dark side.

Vegetable oils are associated with a bunch of health issues—including heart disease, obesity, inflammation, and increased oxidative stress.

And now, shockingly, one of these oils has ALSO been linked to GENETIC changes in the brain.

The animal research published in the journal Endocrinology found that soybean oil (the most widely produced and used edible oil in the U.S.) could affect neurological conditions such as autism, Alzheimer’s, anxiety, and depression.

The researchers discovered soybean oil can potentially change how our hypothalamus functions.

The hypothalamus is a small area at the base of the brain, just above the pituitary gland. It’s ESSENTIAL for keeping the body in balance and controlling many vital processes through hormonal regulation.

Researchers say soybean oil can cause gene dysfunction in the hypothalamus, affecting our levels of the hormone oxytocin.

But the damage doesn’t end there. Soybean oil could also affect genes that lead to lower metabolism, interfere with brain function, and contribute to autism and Parkinson’s.

I’ve warned Living Well Daily readers about the dangers of inflammatory vegetable oils for YEARS. But this puts another nail in their coffin.

The bottom line is you should NEVER use them. And you should avoid SOYBEAN oil like the plague.

But I must warn you that eliminating this oil from your diet CAN take some detective work. Soybean oil is used in countless packaged and processed foods.

So you’ll need to become a careful label reader. Or better yet, kick processed foods to curb altogether.

If you need a liquid oil for cooking, consider olive or avocado oil. But the HEALTHIEST choices are butter, coconut oil, tallow, or lard.

These saturated fats are stable when you heat them and don’t raise inflammation or contribute to oxidative stress like soybean and other vegetable oils.

P.S. The internet recently exploded with the news that canola oil is toxic. But is this vegetable oil harmless or truly “toxic? CLICK HERE to find out.
