Deep-Sea Secret DESTROYS Cancer Cells

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

Cancer treatments haven’t changed much in the last 100 years.

You may have seen headlines touting some amazing new treatment, but most new chemotherapy drugs are the same as old chemotherapy drugs. They’re designed to poison cancer cells before they poison your healthy cells… which sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t.

What if we could take advantage of a natural cycle all cells go through and put cancer cells to sleep forever?

A new study has found that this is possible, thanks to this deep-sea secret that DESTROYS cancer cells.

And best of all, it’s completely natural.

Apoptosis is the word scientists use for programed cell death.

Every cell in your body has a “clock” in it. Once the clock counts down to zero, the cell dies and is replaced by new cells.

The problem is, cancer cells have conveniently learned how to turn off the clock and live forever.

Some of the best research going on for treating cancer is looking for ways to induce apoptosis in cancer cells.

Enter the humble sea sponge.

Sea sponges are animals that never move. They live out their lives attached to coral and rocks and filter water through their pores in order to obtain nutrients.

As it turns out, sea sponges contain molecules that are capable of fighting cancer.

That’s why a group of researchers, publishing their work in the journal Marine Drugs, extracted a molecule called 3,10-dibromofascaplysin from a particular sea sponge called Fascaplysinopsis reticulata to see what it did to cancer cells.

And they weren’t disappointed.

The researchers found that 3,10-dibromofascaplysin induced apoptosis (cell death) in treatment-resistant prostate cancer cells.

Best of all, they found that 3,10-dibromofascaplysin was also non-toxic to normal cells— a BIG bonus!

Currently, the research group is working to make changes to the new-found molecule, no doubt so that they can patent it and make billions of dollars selling it.

This means that you can’t go to your local store and purchase 3,10-dibromofascaplysin just yet.

However, there are other things you can do to help your body be as cancer-proof as possible.

  • Immune-boosting mushrooms. These medical mushrooms have thousands of studies that show they’re helpful in boosting the immune systems, reducing the spread of cancer cells, and also increasing cancer cell death.
  • Curcumin. This compound is extracted from the spice turmeric. It’s anti-inflammatory and provides good antioxidant protection.
  • Fish oils. These are essential fatty acids that most people reading this aren’t getting. Make sure you supplement if you‘re not eating fish two to three times a week.
  • Polyphenols. These are phytonutrients that are found in fresh fruits and vegetables. Most people aren’t getting enough of these either.
  • Vitamin E, selenium, CoQ10, and astaxanthin.  All of these are powerful antioxidants that your cells need to be healthy.

P.S. If you’re currently fighting breast cancer, beware of this mainstream treatment. One study showed that it could SPREAD cancer. Click here to find out more.
