Delicious Dinner BLASTS Clogged Arteries

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

If you have plaque building up in your arteries, you’ve probably been told it’s a ticking time bomb.

And it’s one that could have you on the fast track to a heart attack or stroke.

But before you let some surgeon fit you for a stent, there’s something you’ll want to try first.

Because researchers have just found a dead-simple menu formula you can enjoy any day of the week.

It features three of the most delicious foods around — and it could hold the secret to keeping your arteries healthy and clear.

For this latest experiment, the researchers tested a combination of omega-3 fatty acids found in oily fish, flavonols found in cocoa powder and dark chocolate and phytosterols found in nuts in a laboratory model.

And that’s when they made a groundbreaking discovery…

By combining their active ingredients, these foods may prevent your heart from atherosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries. And they may help keep your arteries free of dangerous plaque.

I should mention that cell studies don’t always translate exactly to humans. However, because of these results and previous studies on the three ingredients, experts believe this powerhouse trio could one day be a major contender in the battle against heart disease.

This means by simply eating a meal that contains fish, dark chocolate and nuts can help to keep your heart healthy and arteries clear.

What an easy formula to remember: Fish + dark chocolate + nuts = a healthy heart.

So put this formula to work — make a salmon dish for dinner and follow it up with a handful of decadent dark chocolate-covered nuts.

If that doesn’t do it for you, try some pistachio-crusted tuna for dinner and a flourless chocolate torte for dessert.

Or if you’re like me and shriek at the thought of eating fish, you can always supplement your omega-3s with a high-quality fish oil and still have dark chocolate-covered nuts for dessert.

Bottom line, it doesn’t matter how you get these delicious and nutritious foods into your diet, just be sure you’re enjoying them together.

Live well,
