Diet Trick BEATS Diabetes
Many of my patients come to see me for blood sugar control.
When I tell them that the best way to get a handle on it is by eating more of certain forbidden foods… they look at me like I’m crazy.
Well, I’m not crazy.
Research shows this simpledietary change can help your blood sugar DROP… and even BEAT diabetes.
And it’s super tasty, too.
I’m talking about fatty foods.
But before you start dreaming of French fries and corndogs, let me explain.
The kind of fatty foods that will help your blood sugar are healthy oils, fatty fish, nuts, and full-fatdairy.
You see, these types of healthy fats slow down your digestion.
And this also slows down the absorption of sugars in your meal.
This means your body never sees a huge spike in blood sugar when you add fat to your meal.
Here’s an example…
If you were to drink a soda by itself, you would see your blood sugar skyrocket.
But if you were to drink that same soda with a stick of butter, your blood sugar wouldn’t budge.
Now, I don’t recommend this experiment to anyone who wants to stay healthy, but it paints an accurate picture of how fats slow down your metabolism.
And research shows that adding more fat can actually STOP diabetes, too.
In a recent study, 84 obese diabetics were given either a high-fat, low-carb diet for 24-weeks.
Atthe end, 95 of the participants were able to REDUCE or ELIMINATE their diabetes medication.
Just imagine what this could mean for your future!
And adding more fat to your diet couldn’t be easier. All you gotta do is swap out your sugary treats for the healthy foods listed above.
