“F Factor” SAVES Your Memory (Wow!)
When it comes to protecting your memory, you’d probably do just about anything.
Because without a sharp mind in your golden years, you could lose your independence.
That’s why you never miss your evening walk and always do the Sunday crossword.
But there’s something else you NEED to do if you want to keep your brain in tip-top shape.
It’s my number one brain health secret… and research shows it could be the key to staying sharp no matter your age.
All you need to get started is the “F factor.”
I’m talking about flavonoids.
Flavonoids are natural plant molecules found in many colorful fruits and vegetables. The two major types of flavonoids are flavones, found in yellow and orange fruits and veggies, and anthocyanins, found in darker fruits like blueberries, blackberries, and cherries.
Flavonoids are powerful antioxidants that help control inflammation and reduce oxidative stress in the body. They also improve blood flow – which may be why they’re such a superstar for brain health.
A new study published in the journal Neurology discovered that getting plenty of them in your diet can protect you as you age.
The researchers sorted the health data of almost 50,000 women and almost 30,000 men into five different groups according to how much flavonoids they consumed.
Next, they checked the data again to look for cases of Subjective Cognitive Decline (SCD). This is a condition that often precedes Alzheimer’s disease.
And they found that the folks in the group who ate the most flavonoids had a 20 percent lower risk of SCD!
The best part is, it doesn’t take much to get the benefits of flavonoids: all you need to do is eat roughly half a serving of flavonoid-rich foods like strawberries, oranges, peppers, and apples.
Personally, I think you can’t go wrong with even MORE flavonoids in your diet. I drink a serving of powdered flavonoids each day. You can find a similar product online here from Life Extension.
