“Fat Secret” DECREASES Migraine Occurrence by 40 Percent

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

Headaches are bad, but migraines can be debilitating.

The pounding pain… the changes in your vision… and the extreme light and sound sensitivity can send you to bed for hours.

And your mainstream doc has nothing to help you.

If you could get the same relief as drugs without all the risks, wouldn’t you?

A new study found an incredibly safe… easy… and cheap way to STOP your migraines for good.

It’s called the “fat secret”… and it’s something you should already be doing anyways!

*****

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential fats that your body needs in order to function correctly, and the sad truth is, most people don’t get enough.

And it’s this deficiency that could be the source of your migraines.

Ideally, you should be getting enough omega-3 fatty acids to balance out a second type called omega-6 fatty acids.  But the problem is, most folks get FAR more of these less healthy omega-6 fats thanks to highly-processed foods packed with vegetable oils like corn, safflower, and soybean.

Previous research suggests that this omega-3 and omega-6 imbalance is the root of many diseases because it increases inflammation… but no one has made the connection to migraines, until now.

A group of researchers, who published their study in The British Medical Journal, looked closely at the diets of 182 migraine sufferers.

They found that the people who had high omega-3 fatty acid intake had up to 30-40 percent fewer of the following:

  • total headache hours per day,
  • severe headaches hours per day,
  • overall headache days per month.

The reason omega-3 fatty acids combat migraines so well is because of their natural anti-inflammatory properties. As you know, lower inflammation means lower disease risk.

The best sources include cold-water fatty fish, such as salmon, mackerel, tuna, herring, and sardines.

Since most people have a hard time getting enough fish in their diet, however, I strongly recommend that you supplement with fish oil. Check the label for at least 500mg total of EPA and DHA, though you can safely take up to 1000mg daily.
