Fatty Snack Solution to a TRIMMER Waist

They say with age comes wisdom. And I agree.

However, a thickening waistline and new heart concerns often show up too.

If that sounds familiar, forget the latest fad diet or crazy exercise routine.

One of the simplest ways to manage your waistline and support your heart health could ALREADY be sitting in your pantry.

It sounds too tasty to be true. But I’m talking about nuts!

Surprised? Don’t be. Nuts have gotten an undeserved bad rap. So, let’s go ahead and set the (delicious) record straight.

Nuts are often shunned by folks who are trying to lose weight or improve their heart health because they fear their fat content. But fear not!

Nuts are ACTUALLY bite-sized nutritional powerhouses.

They’re packed with protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats that can help you lose weight, lower cholesterol, and reduce your risk of heart disease.

In fact, there’s even new research revealing precisely how to use nuts as part of a weight loss strategy that’s also great for your heart.

For the study published in the journal Obesity, researchers recruited 106 volunteers.

  • Half of the group got 15 percent of their energy intake from eating
  • The other half got their 15 percent from carbohydrates (rice crackers or cereal bars).

Both groups were also put on a calorie-restricted diet, and they both lost around nine percent of body weight. However, the almond-eating group ALSO significantly improved their cholesterol levels (atherogenic lipoprotein subfractions).

The truth is munching on nuts leaves you feeling full and satisfied far better than many other snacks. They’re a great source of healthy fats and proteins that make it EASIER to maintain your weight or stick to a weight-loss plan.

In addition, most nuts and seeds, including almonds, are rich in vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol), which improves heart health. Plus, nuts contain the amino acid arginine, which promotes healthy blood pressure.

So, put down the potato chips and reach for a hearty handful of almonds, walnuts, pecans, or cashews instead.

Don’t let their high-fat content fool you. Nuts will leave you with a trim waistline and a happy heart.

P.S. There’s a LOT to get down about these days. It’s no wonder more folks are battling the blues. Dodge depression with this delicious solution.
