How to Get “Super Muscles” As You Age

None of us want to get frail as we get older.

You lose your muscle strength… your energy levels tank… and you feel terrible all day.

That’s no way to live.

Plus, frailty is the fastest ticket to the old folk’s home – and even an early grave.

But you don’t need to spend your golden years weak and frail.

In fact, there are some easy ways to grow “super muscles” as you age.

And you NEVER have to step foot inside a gym.

There are proven ways to keep (and even increase) your lean muscle mass as you age.

But why keep those muscles around anyway?

Here are the reasons muscles are so importantto your health:

  • They help keep you limber and moving, allowing you to exercise better.
  • You can keep your joints and bones healthy with good muscle tone.
  • Weak muscle tone can leads to lots of unwanted diseases like osteoporosis, diabetes, and obesity.
  • Muscles and metabolism are connected.  You need good muscle tone if you want to maintain a healthy weight.
  • You can increase insulin sensitivity if you have more muscle.  Higher insulin sensitivity helps to keep your blood sugar low.
  • The amount of muscle you have determines how well you might survive a long-term illness.

I think one of the best reasons to keep your muscles healthy is that they help you look great, stay healthy, and feel young.

Dr. Scott’s Muscle Maintaining Recipe

Building muscles requires two things:

  1. Exercise. It doesn’t have to be anything crazy, just get out and move your body.
  1. Get the right nutrition. If you guessed that you need protein to build muscles, you are right. To build great muscles, you need all the amino acids, including what are called the branched-chain amino acids. That means loading up on leafy greens and high-quality sources of protein, like beef and poultry.
