"Green Trend" BLASTS Common Infections
Dear Reader,
The failure of antibiotics is a modern disaster that’s reaching dangerously high levels….
The over-prescribing of antibiotics is leading more and more to antibiotic-resistant superbugs.
(And that’s not to mention the COVID-19 bug that’s still running amok…)
If something isn’t found soon to replace antibiotics, people will eventually die from common infections that used to be easily treated.
Thankfully, this “green trend” might be the miracle we’ve been looking for.

You may have already heard by now that CBD is great for all kinds of things ranging from anxiety, to insomnia, epilepsy, and even pain.
But it’s superpowers stretch even FARTHER.
A new research study suggests that CBD can help fight common infections.
Cannabidiol (or CBD) is a non-psychoactive compound taken from cannabis (marijuana or hemp) plant.
CBD does not produce a high feeling but it does have many powerful effects on your body.
As of right now, the FDA has only approved CBD for treating rare forms of seizures, but most people use CBD to help with sleep, reduce anxiety… and now to help their immune systems.
CBD has been tested in animals and laboratories for use against bacteria, and all the studies have shown it’s at least equal to common antibiotics.
Scientists recently found that CBD can also even boost the power of certain antibiotics.
The study, published in the journal Scientific Reports, tested CBD and an antibiotic combination on Staphylococcus aureus (a common infection).
The combination of CBD and antibiotic made it difficult for bacteria to divide normally. It disrupted key genes in the germs, and it made the cell membranes of the bacteria unstable (ALL of which makes life hard for the bacteria).
Other studies have shown CBD has the ability to disrupt the biofilm that bacteria produce.
See, in order to survive, bacteria have to create a protective layer around them (called biofilm). And disrupting this protective layer can go a long way to kicking bad bacteria out of your body.
What’s more, it appears that CBD works differently than common antibiotics. This is key because antibiotics attack bacteria through specific methods and bacteria have developed ways to block their attacks (better known as antibiotic resistance).
So, should you take CBD for a cold or another infection? Yes, it’s certainly something you should consider especially because CBD is safe and has very few, if any, side effects.
