This “Health Tip” Is KILLING Us!

Our government does plenty of stupid things.

But giving out health advice may be the stupidest.

Uncle Sam has given out TERRIBLE health information over the years… information that I believe has killed people.

I spend a lot of time convincing patients and my own family members to ignore pretty much everything health-related that comes out of Washington, DC.

But there’s a government “health tip” that millions of people are still following.

And if you’re one of them, it could put you in an early grave.

In the 1960s, the government told us to stay away from fat – especially saturated fat.

And millions of Americans bought it.

Since that time, we have seen a 300% rise in obesity and a 700% rise in diabetes.

Think the two might be related?

When non-scientists, who had a lot of political power, decided that fat was the reason for heart attacks it doomed millions of people to an early grave.

When we tossed fat out the window, we tossed our health out, too, because we ate more sugar and foods that act like sugar.

And we are all paying a huge price for those decisions.

Let me show you why.

The reason why a low-fat diet is so harmful:

  • Low-fat diets don’t help you lose weight (a 300% rise in obesity is enough to prove this).
  • Fat doesn’t create fat on your body (that is sugar’s job – and it’s doing a great job).
  • Every cell in your body needs fats—when you don’t have the right fats, your cells don’t function well.
  • Fats are needed to make hormones. Are you low on testosterone? It may be that you aren’t eating enough fat.
  • You need fat to absorb certain vitamins, like vitamins A, D, E, and K.

At this point you may wonder if there are any bad fats and the answer to that is YES.

Yes, there are bad fats: and you find them in almost every processed food you eat. These fats, called trans fats and hydrogenated fats or oils are man-made, and your body has a hard time dealing with them and they create inflammation.

Saturated fats (like butter, lard, nuts, olive oil, fish and fish oil, and coconut oil), on the other hand, are great to eat. In fact, they’re essential to your health.

The government’s war on fat has been an absolute disaster since Day 1.

But don’t let Uncle Sam control what’s on your dinner plate anymore.

Skip the carbs and sugars, and load up on healthy fats instead.

It’s the healthiest thing you can do for your body.
