IMPROVE Your Brain Health in 20 Minutes?
The fact of the matter is, getting older is tough on your whole body.
Your joints… your heart… and even your good looks all take a plunge with every passing year.
But, the worst part by far about aging is that it takes its biggest toll on your brain.
Because as you age, you lose brain cells… and eventually, your brain will begin to shrink.
Fortunately, research shows that the BEST way to keep a sharp, healthy brain couldn’t be easier.
And in just 20 minutes, it could make your brain years younger!
Now, you probably don’t need me to tell you that exercise is good for you.
We’ve known for years that getting up and moving can keep your heart healthy, preserve your independence, and even keep your mood in check.
And now there’s proof that it can save your brain too!
A new study, published in the journal, Neurology, found that exercise can turn back the clock on aging brains.
The research team had participants exercise for six months and then gathered data on their brains.
Researchers saw higher scores on participants’ thinking and memory tests at the end of the study. Tests of executive function increased 5.7 percent; verbal fluency increased by 2.4 percent!
So what about exercise is so great for your brain?
Well, the scientists found that peak blood flow to the participants’ brains increased 2.8 percent. More blood flow means more oxygen, nutrients as well as increased brain cleaning. All of which boost your brain health.
The participants in the study started out exercising for an average of 20 minutes a day and by the end of the study they’re exercising around 40 minutes.
This this study tended to focus on vigorous exercise (where your heart is beating hard).
But here’s the thing: you don’t have to work that hard to get these results!
Just getting out and doing ANY exercise will help you. Try gardening, golfing, walking… all exercise leads to higher life expectancy and a healthier brain.
AND, if you don’t currently exercise, make sure you make a slow transition.
Of course, if you really want to take care of your brain you should eat better, lose weight, manage your blood pressure, reduce the amount of sugars you eat, get enough sleep, and take the right supplements.

Dear Reader, Ask the men in your life when they last went to the doctor and most will have a hard time remembering. I ask men this question all the time and I’m often answered with a blank stare. Dear Reader, We’ve all been told to keep her hands clean – especially so in recent times. But wouldn’t it be nice if we were told the RIGHT way to do it? Washing your hands regularly is one of the keys to stopping the spread of germs, in part because we touch our face far more often than...

Dear Reader, Most people are terrified at the thought of chemotherapy AND with good reason. Chemotherapy works (in general) by poisoning cells that grow rapidly. Unfortunately, chemotherapy doesn’t just pinpoint cancer cells, it often takes your other healthy cells along with too (like your hair, your digestive tract…). But most people are willing to go through this pain and torture because they believe it will put an end...
Dear Reader, When I told Jim his blood pressure was dangerously high, he was quick with his reply: “I don’t believe that high blood pressure mumbo jumbo… I feel fine.” After all, Jim came to see me because he thought I didn’t believe in that “mumbo jumbo” either. And honestly, there’s a part of me that doesn’t. Drug companies make billions off...
Dear Reader, Have you noticed that there has been a tremendous increase in allergies over the last few years? Dear Reader, Trying to get the perfect blood pressure is enough to give you high blood pressure. Dear Reader, Ever since COVID-19 swept across our nation, we have heard about how the virus damages our lungs. Recent research shows just how dangerous coronavirus can be for another...
