“Kitchen Cure” Cracks Prostate Cancer Code

Prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer in men… and the leading cause of cancer death among men in the United States.

That’s the BAD news.

The GOOD news is that prostate cancer typically grows very slowly. In fact, it’s why many men and their doctors opt for “watchful waiting.”

During watchful waiting, exams, and certain tests may be done to monitor the status of the cancer. But more invasive tests and treatments are avoided.

But now scientists have uncovered another FAR better option. It’s an all-natural, non-invasive solution that could put up a roadblock against prostate cancer growing.

Research has revealed a link between increased prolidase activityand prostate cancer.

This enzyme is usually involved in collagen turnover and cell growth processes. However, studies show higher prolidase activity is higher in prostate cancer than in healthy prostate tissues.

Scientists believe that when prolidase activity spikes,it can trigger tumors to grow dangerously out of control.

Oxidative stress (OS) then takes things from bad to worse.

You see, OS plays a key role in prostate cancer by damaging DNA and harming cells, which contributes to tumor formation and growth. Prolidase then supercharges that damage by pumping out oxidizing proline.

However, new research shows we can REVERSE the trend with natural antioxidants.

A recent study confirms that men with prostate cancer have HIGH levels of prolidase activity levels and LOW antioxidant (such as glutathione and superoxide dismutase) levels.

But the good news is that BOOSTING your antioxidants couldn’t be easier! Cracking the prostate cancer code begins at your kitchen table.

Here’s how…

  • Eat more sulfur-rich foods, including garlic, onions, broccoli, and cabbage.
  • Consume more selenium-rich foods, including Brazil nuts, shrimp, tuna, eggs, and mushrooms.
  • Get adequate vitamin C from citrus fruits, peppers, kiwi, and strawberries.
  • Boost zinc levels. Good food sources of zinc include oysters, beef, spinach, and pumpkin seeds. And supplements are available.
  • Eat more copper-rich foods, including sesame seeds, cashews, shiitake mushrooms, and dark chocolate.
  • Consume manganese-rich foods such as mussels, hazelnuts, brown rice, chickpeas, and spinach.
  • Get more vitamin E by munching on sunflower seeds, almonds, avocados, and trout.

P.S. Boosting antioxidants is a great place to start. But if you should need to take the next step, you should check out this side-effect-free prostate cancer treatment that’s making waves.
