Mailbag! How to Stop ANY Disease (Two Easy Steps)
My husband has been diagnosed with several diseases because of all the inflammation. He’s in pain 24/7 and it kills me to see him suffering so much. What would you suggest to help?

Juanita,
I’m sorry to hear about your husband. Chronic inflammation is, sadly, the disease of our time. Since I’ve been in practice, the number of diseases that can be blamed on inflammation has quadrupled.
Inflammation is a part of your immune system and has four signs that even the ancient Greeks recognized:
- redness,
- heat,
- swelling,
In truth, inflammation is a sloppy response to an infection. If you cut your finger and bacteria get inside your body, your immune system is alerted and begins to cause the swelling heat, redness, and eventually pain.
Then all that blood rushing to the area brings along immune cells that take care of the foreign invaders.
That’s what we call an acute infection. Something happened suddenly, causing inflammation that helps rid your body of the infection.
Because you see, inflammation is a vital and necessary part of your body’s defense against infections.
But disease occurs when inflammation becomes chronic.
And when it does, it slowly destroys our bodies. Chronic inflammation destroys our lungs when we have asthma, our joints when we have arthritis, and so on.
Inflammation becomes chronic for various reasons, but the most harmful in this modern age are chronic bacterial infections, processed foods, vegetable and hydrogenated oils, artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, and even sugar.
There are two things you need to do to lower inflammation: subtract BAD things from your diet and add GOOD things.
Avoid:
- Refined carbohydrates
- French fries
- Soda
- Margarine
Add:
- I recommend fish oil, curcumin, and boswellia, as well as a good probiotic.
- Exercise is a great way to keep inflammation in check. Strangely, exercise increases inflammation for about an hour after exercise, but then it plummets to very low levels.
- Eat your veggies. Vegetables, especially green leafy veggies, have a way of calming inflammation.
I wish you and your husband the best of health.
