“Micro Cure” STOPS Anxiety (Wow!)
Dear Living Well Daily Reader,
Maybe you lie awake at night wondering if all the doors and windows are locked… or maybe you start to panic and sweat at the thought of driving…
No matter how it shows up, your anxiety can flip your life upside down.
And your mainstream doc won’t help you. He’ll just blame your “bad genes” and hand you an addictive prescription drug.
But now researchers have discovered that there’s a way to STOP anxiety and essentially rewrite your genes…
And it all starts in an unexpected place.
Believe it or not, anxiety doesn’t necessarily start in your brain…
In fact, new research shows it begins in your gut.
Your microbiome is the collection of mostly bacteria that inhabit your digestive tract, and it can have HUGE effects on your health – especially when it comes to your genes.
And when these two factors combine in just the right way, it becomes anxiety.
In a breaking new study, researchers used mice to determine how much of an effect your gut and genes have on developing anxiety.
They soon found that there were over 141 types of genes that could lead to anxiety OR depression.
But here’s the thing…
They ALSO looked at the mice’s gut microbiomes… and they discovered something stunning.
Specifically, they found that higher numbers of bacterial species called Ruminococcaceae, Clostridiaceae, Clostridiales mixed with lower numbers of Bacteroidaceae and Bacteroidales were seen in mice with the worst anxiety.
And by measuring both of these factors, researchers could predict with 79 percent accuracy whether or not a mouse would have anxiety.
The reason is, these bacteria all played a part in whether or not the anxiety-producing genes were flipped on.
This means, you DON’T have to be stuck with anxiety… by healing your gut, you can essentially overwrite the effects of bad genes.
Let me show you how.
Dr. Scott’s Good Gut Health Program:
- Probiotics are your easiest path to a healthy digestive system. I prefer a probiotic product that contains a fiber prebiotic along with good bacteria (probiotics).
- Eat enough fiber to help with regular bowel movements, but also to help stimulate healthy bacterial growth. I always suggest that people take both water-soluble and water-insoluble fiber. One of my favorite fibers is ground flax seeds.
- Throw away junk food, trans fats, processed, and chemical foods. All processed foods, trans fatty acids, artificial sweeteners, and alcohol harm the microbiome. Do what you can to limit these non-foods in your diet.
P.S. Long term anxiety can also lead to many dangerous diseases… but perhaps the worst is dementia. Click here to learn more about how to stop it.
