Money-Free Way to Boost Your Mood in Minutes!

Dear Reader,

It’s a tough time to be happy.

Our happiness is challenged by huge fires burning throughout the West

A political environment that is far from kind

And, oh yea, that COVID-19 thing

Despite all the bad news, there’s a simple, little trick you can do to help you feel better (almost instantly!).

And the good news is you don’t have to visit your doctor, take any harmful drugs, or spend a ton of money.

I’m sure you’ve noticed that there are many, many recommendations on how to get through these tough times. Maybe you’ve seen the headlines suggesting complicated plans that involve charting your mood and making a life plan to find happiness

Then there is the mainstream medicine’s suggestion that a drug could fix all your mood problems – but you know that’s just a load of malarkey. It’s an attempt to get you to spend money, made even worse by the yard-long list of side effects a pill comes with.

Don’t buy into any of these wild gimmicks.

Because your solution to a better mood may be as close as your feet

A recent survey of 2,000 adults found that 80 percent of them felt much better after dancing for only a few minutes a day.

But it didn’t stop there!

Seventy percent of people said they Busted-a-Move to relax and relieve their stress

A full 50 percent of the people surveyed said they Cut-a-Rug and Tripped-the-Light-Fantastic to a better mood.

While this is only a surveythere have been many scientific studies showing that dance helps reduce our stress and anxiety (particularly in times of difficulty – like now).

But here is the key takeaway: over 40 percent of the people in the survey had something to admit: they’re bad at dancing! In fact, 41 percent considered themselves QUITE BAD, or even appalling at dancing

That means you don’t have to be a competitive ballroom dancer to get the benefits from Shaking-a-Leg and hitting the dance floor.

When you dance, you’re increasing your heart rate, bringing oxygen and blood flow to all parts of your body and brain. But dancing also releases a slew of neurochemicals (including those that reduced pain and improve our mood).

Dancing is something that pulls people together My wife and I often cook dinners together with music playing in the background. It’s rare that we don’t start dancing when a particular jam comes on.

Your dance routine doesn’t have to be too long: about 70 percent of people in this study say they spend about 2 hours and 15 minutes A MONTH dancing. Heck anybody can do that!

You can Boogie-Down at home, your church event, or even take formal classes

Dancing is not going to cure everything (but it should be fun to try!).

Remember to dance like no one’s watching!

P.S. If you find yourself feeling down during these difficult times, don’t reach for the chips or chocolate cake. Read about the “real comfort food” that actually can BOOST your mood – without wrecking your health.
