Morning Staple Reduces Colon Cancer Death Risk 36%
Dear Reader,
Cancer. The word itself sends shivers down most people’s spine, and with good reason.
It’s one of the most fatal illnesses we face.
If you or a loved one have come face to face with this sickness – you know just how miserable and scary daily life becomes. But even worse, if you’re faced with colon cancer – the second deadliest type of cancer – the stakes are even higher.
And chances are, mainstream medicine’s techniques are useless. No amount of chemo, radiation or surgery will save you. They’ll only make you sicker – and sometimes cause the cancer to spread.
But luckily, you can reduce your risk of dying from colorectal cancer as much as 36%. And it’s all thanks to a morning staple that, if you don’t already enjoy, you’ll want to start brewing up now.
Sometimes, I think mainstream nutritionists like to just take away anything that’s enjoyable. For instance, they’ll tell you to stay away from chocolate, or alcohol — just because people like it. (Not because science says so).
And, of course, coffee also has to be on the “banned foods” list. But science says otherwise…
Believe it or not, recent research actually discovered that drinking coffee regularly can dramatically reduce your risk of colorectal cancer.
An extensive study of over 1,171 patients with already advanced colorectal cancer was published recently in JAMA Oncology.
The research team found that mild coffee drinkers (two to three cups a day ) had an 18 percent reduction in risk of dying over the study period and had the same 18 percent reduced risk of progression of cancer (meaning it was stable).
But even better… people who drink four cups of coffee a day had a 36 reduction of death and a 22 percent reduction in cancer progression!
This study is supported by other coffee studies that have shown it has a significantly protects against colorectal cancer.
Coffee is a great start, but there are other ways to defend your body in the fight against cancer. Here’s what you can do:
Dr. Scott’s Anti-Cancer Gut Health Program:
- Vitamin C: A high dose of vitamin C has been shown in many studies to help support cancer treatment.
- Ginseng: An herb that also has numerous studies that support its use for fighting cancer.
- Turmeric: An herb that has been shown to help with breast cancer, bowel cancer, stomach cancer, and skin cancer cells.
- Immune-Boosting Mushrooms: These medical mushrooms have thousands of studies that show they are helpful in boosting the immune system, reducing the spread of cancer cells, and killing cancer cells.
- Eat enough fiber: This will not only help with regular bowel movements, but will also help stimulate healthy bacterial growth. I always suggest that people take both water soluble and water insoluble fiber. One of my favorite fibers is ground flax seeds.
- Throw away junk food, trans fats, processed, and chemical foods: All processed foods, trans fatty acids, artificial sweeteners, and alcohol harm the microbiome (the bacteria in your gut). Do what you can to limit these non-foods in your diet.
- Exercise: It doesn’t seem like the first place you would turn to help your digestive tract, but it has been shown to help encourage a healthy microbiome.
P.S. There are many natural ways to fight off colon cancer that don’t involve dangerous mainstream drugs. In fact, there’s one delicious snack that helps FIGHT OFF colon cancer – and it may just be in your fridge right now. If not, you’ll want to grab some ASAP. Read here find out what needs to be on your grocery list.
