All-Natural Treatment Destroys Cancer Cells… From Within
Dear Living Well Daily Reader,
No matter what the mainstream tells you, chemotherapy is NOT the only game in town when it comes to fighting cancer.
Chemical-Therapy (chemotherapy) is a slash-and-burn approach that attacks healthy cells as often as cancer cells.
And that leaves people feeling exhausted, shattered, and hairless.
But you knew that.
But there is another approach to killing cancer cells that has been proven by dozens of studies and that I’ve used in my own practice.
It gives your body the help it needs to kick cancer to the curb… all while leaving normal cells alone.
One of my favorite approaches to natural cancer treatment are medical mushrooms.
Medical mushrooms are not the white mushrooms you find in your typical grocery store. They are made by super-concentrating the active ingredients of the mushroom to get the maximum benefits.
While medical mushrooms have been used for thousands of years in the East, researchers are just beginning to awaken to the benefits of these amazing fungi for cancer.
Recently, researchers from New York Medical College found that a mushroom called Phellinus Linteus made changes to epigenetic structures that caused the almost complete destruction of bladder cancer cells.
Epigenetic structures act as switches which turn on or off DNA. Turn off the right DNA and the cancer cells die.
Simple as that.
This is great news because the type of bladder cancer in the study (urothelial cell carcinoma -UCC) is the most common type of bladder cancer and there are few medical options.
Doctors often treat this cancer anyway only to have the tumor return and their patients die.
Meanwhile, the patient had to endure chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy and now feels (and looks) like they have been hit by a locomotive.
The mushrooms work miraculously to not only kill cancer cells but also block their replication and spreading.
While this is great news, Phellinus Linteus is not alone. There are many other mushrooms that support a healthy immune system, including:
- Chaga: Boosts and regulates the immune system, and is anticancer and an antioxidant.
- Cordyceps: Increases energy (is regularly used by athletes) and is anticancer.
- Lion’s Mane: Contains immune-boosting polysaccharides and antioxidants.
- Reishi: Gives the immune system a boost, including natural T-cells.
- Maitake: This mushroom is anti-inflammatory and antidiabetic.
- Turkey Tail: Fights tumor growth and spreading (metastasis) and produces an increase in natural killer cells that attack cancer.
- Shiitake: Stimulates the immune system and fights viral and bacterial infections.
The active ingredients in these mushrooms are mostly water-soluble. So make sure you and your doctor look for water or steam extracted varieties.
