Never Get Alzheimer’s? (Here’s How)
I’m on a personal mission to keep you from getting Alzheimer’s disease.
Why? Because I’ve seen far too many people fall into old age unprepared… and lose their memory and independence in the process.
But you don’t have to be the next victim.
Because there’s a dead-simple way to STOP Alzheimer’s before it STARTS.
And it can improve your social life, too.
There’s nothing quite like trying something new. It can satisfy your sense of adventure… and even help you make new friends.
And it now it looks like having new experiences is the key STOPPING Alzheimer’s.
The reason new experiences work is that those experiences stimulate the brain and creates new brain connections.
But here’s the catch – researchers have found that not just ANY new experience will do the trick.
Instead, a new experience has to fall into one of the following categories to give you a brain boost:
- Physical: You need to move your body around and it helps if you are moving around in new and unique ways. Taking a golf lesson or joining a pickleball group are good ways to get started.
- Interpersonal: This is any new activity that involves other. Things like taking a painting class, learning a new card game with friends or even joining a book club are all fine ways to begin.
- Intellectual: These are activities that simulate your brain. This include previous listed things like learning a new sport or skill. And it also includes activities such as mystery dinners.
All of this falls under the “use it or lose it” principle: move your body, connect with others, and challenge your brain – do this and you will set yourself up for mindful, independent golden years
But you don’t have to stop there.
Eating more veggies, getting better sleep and taking your supplements can add an extra layer of brain protection.
