“Ocean Secret” STOPS Up to 40% of Migraines

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

A patient named Cindy walked into my office and flopped onto the chair.

The bags under her eyes and her apparent total exhaustion told me that she’d been through a lot lately.

She then complained that she’d had more headaches recently, and had been having migraines most of her adult life.

But worst of all, nothing her mainstream doctor did had helped.

I told her there was hope… but it starts somewhere strange.

Today, I’m going to share the sameocean secretwith you… because it could slash your migraines as much as 40 percent!

If you have migraines, I don’t need to tell you how bad they can be. Most people with migraines run for their bed, close the shades, and hide from the world as soon as they get the first hints of a headache coming their way.

But now, that could all change.

Researchers from the National Institutes of Health discovered that a diet HIGH in omega-3 fatty acids could relieve migraines.

You see, most Americans have an imbalance between omega-3 fatty acids and omega-6 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids are found in fish oil and other healthy-fat foods, while omega-6 fatty acids are found in seeds and oils, like peanut, safflower, and corn.

This is a huge problem because nothing SKYROCKETS inflammation more than eating vegetable oils… and there’s no better way to decrease inflammation than omega-3s.

In the study, researchers put volunteers on a 16-week diet high in omega-3 fatty acids and low in omega-6 fatty acids.

Those who closely followed the diet had a 30 to 40 percent reduction in headache hours and the headaches they did have were much shorter.

So, grab your fork and eat as much cold-water fish as you can. And if you want to go the extra mile, start taking a fish oil supplement. Just make sure you get a quality supplement that contains at least 250 to 500mg of combined EPA/DHA.

Another thing to keep in mind is that migraines are also often triggered by emotional stress and lack of sleep, so make sure you take good care of yourself. Having the tools to handle stress and help you sleep well are great preventative measures.
