Prostate Cancer Trigger FOUND (Shocking)
Dear Living Well Daily Reader,
There’s one word you never want to hear your doctor say…
Cancer.
And for men, that fear becomes bigger each year.
Recent statistics state that 1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer.
But I say, not one more.
Researchers have uncovered a shocking prostate cancer trigger…
But once you know what it is, the power is in YOUR hands to stay cancer free.
*****
A new study published in the journal Cancer Causes & Control found that belly fat increased the risk for aggressive prostate cancer.
This may seem crazy, but where you carry your extra weight matters.
There are three fat-storage types:
- Homogenous. People who store fat everywhere evenly. This type is extremely rare.
- Peripheral: these people tend to store fat in their thighs and hips and is more common in women.
- Abdominal: these people have the typical beer belly and are considered “apple-shaped.”
About 50 percent of people store fat in their belly and this type of fat storage is strongly associated with high blood pressure, diabetes, sleep apnea, heart failure, erectile dysfunction, stroke, infertility, gallstones and high cholesterol… and, now, aggressive prostate cancer.
On its own, belly fat also increases inflammation (because fat cells secrete chemicals that cause inflammation to skyrocket).
But abdominal obesity also leads to hormone changes that can promote the growth of certain cancer cells.
And as a man, you know that the last thing you want to do is screw up your testosterone levels.
Belly fat can be tough to fight, but it’s not impossible. Start with eliminating added sugar from your diet.
Then, focus on balancing your blood sugar, one of the biggest factors in belly fat storage.
Consider taking the mineral chromium, or the herbs berberine, garcinia, and sphaeranthus.
