[Revealed} The WORST Drug in the World

I was asked recently what I thought the worst drug was.

And that’s a tough question… because there are so many TERRIBLE drugs on the market.

There are medications that cause memory loss, suicidal thoughts, diabetes, and even CANCER

But if you ask me, there’s one type of drug that stands out from the rest… and is doing harm to MILLIONS of people every year.

The worst part? It may be in your medicine cabinet RIGHT NOW.

I’m talking about stomach acid blockers.

And let me start with their first problem – you NEED stomach acid!

I know the ads will tell you otherwise, but stomach acid is in your body for a reason.

Stomach acid does many things:

  • It acts as a protector, by killing any harmful bacteria that enter your digestive tract.
  • It breaks apart proteins to make those proteins available to your body.
  • Stomach acid is the ‘trigger’ that causes the release of digestive enzymes.

Without stomach acid, you don’t properly digest food or absorb nutrients.

So, the drugs I’m talking about that stop stomach acid are starving your body in the process

But these drugs also:

  • Kill good bacteria in your gut.
  • Increase the risk of heart disease.
  • Accelerate aging of blood vessels.

But what if you have heartburn? There are easy solutions to this problem.

Dr. Scott’s Gut Health Program:

  • Cut the sugars: Avoid soda and any food that is too sugary (as much as you can).
  • Use salt: Many articles on bloating will say to avoid salt because it causes you to bloat. Don’t believe this. Salt is necessary to make hydrochloric acid in your stomach and the acid is needed to keep bad bacteria down and out of where it doesn’t belong.
  • Take a good prebiotic and probiotic: I like a probiotic product that has fiber (prebiotic) and good bacteria (probiotics).
  • Try herbs: Basil, dill, ginger, fennel, and mint all help to decrease bloating.
  • Look for potential food intolerances: This is probably the hardest step. Dairy is a very common intolerance, but so are wheat and corn.

Health and Happiness,
