Show-Stopper Vitamin Halts Colon Cancer?!

Dear Reader,

When Harold came to see me about his colon cancer, it wasn’t because he wanted to.

It’s because his wife made him.

And it’s a good thing she did.

Harold’s mainstream doctor was about to start him on standard chemotherapy… but NEVER told him about the one miracle vitamin he should get more of during his treatment.

You see, this powerhouse nutrient can BOOST chemotherapy… and help KEEP you colon cancer-free after treatment

There is a well- established relationship between high levels of vitamin D and low risk of developing colon cancer.

But what about AFTER you have colon cancer?

The new SUNSHINE study investigated high doses of Vitamin D and what taking the vitamin could do for colon cancer treatments.

The study, published in the Journal JAMA, looked at 139 people with previously untreated metastatic colorectal cancer and split them into 2 groups.

One group was given a high dose of Vitamin D, and the other one was given a low dose of Vitamin D.

  • The high dose group took 8000 IU of vitamin D each day for 2 weeks and then switched to 4000 IU a day
  • The low dose group took 400 IU (the recommended daily allowance for vitamin D is 800 IU a day for adultseach day for the whole study.

Both groups took standard chemotherapy during the trial

At the end, the highdose group was less likely to experience progression of their cancer or death in almost 2 years follow-up than the low-dose group.

This means that vitamin D can help SLOW the growth of colon cancer… and keep it from killing you, too!

If that’s not a reason to get more vitamin D, I don’t know what is.

You can up your vitamin D levels by getting at least 15 minutes of unprotected sunlight every day.

Or you can get a vitamin D supplement from your local pharmacy.

As always – work with your doctor whenever you are taking a supplement.

P.S. Have you heard? There’s a morning staple that could cut your risk of dying from colon cancer by 36%! Learn all about it here and make sure you add it to your routine asap!
