Spicy Secret Makes You Live LONGER!

Everyone wants to live longer.

And focusing on your diet is one of the greatest ways to do that.

But if you talk to your mainstream doctor about what to eat… you’ll get a lot of confusing advice.

They’ll tell you to avoid eggs, bacon, and other incredibly healthy foods.

And it looks like they have it all wrong about another longevity-boosting food.

Here’s what you need to know.

If your doc has told you that avoiding spicy foods is good for your health, he’s WRONG.

Eating spicy foods will go a long way toward prolonging your life.

This, according to researchers who tracked the eating habits and health of over 22,811 Italians for over eight years and published their work in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

The research team discovered that people who ate chili peppers regularly were 23 percent less likely to die from ANY cause, including heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer’s.

In fact, individuals eating chili peppers at least four times a week were:

  • 40 percent less likely to die from a heart attack
  • And 50 percent less likely to die from stroke.

Most people in the study followed what would be considered a healthy Mediterranean diet (eating mostly fish and good proteins, with a large number of vegetables), so you would expect these people to be pretty healthy.

But here is what is really interesting: the spice-lovers were healthier no matter how good their diet was.  Chili peppers still had a protective effect – even if they were eating junk.

One of the active ingredients in peppers, called capsaicin, has long been used to help increase circulation, act as a powerful antioxidant, and reduce pain.

Now we know, that not only do spices give food an extra zing to your food, they also protect your body from disease.

You can add more spice to your diet with fresh chilies, chili powder and hot sauces.
