Superstar Vitamin SLASHES Vertigo Risk 45%

Dear Reader,

Have you ever had that awful feeling… where you don’t know which way is up or which is down?

Because the world is spinning. It feels like you’re moving… but you’re not. “Lightheaded” and “nauseated” don’t even begin to cover it.

There’s only one word for it: vertigo.

As miserable as vertigo is, it can be even more miserable to treat. Namely because there are many different things that can cause vertigo. It could be the result of any number of viruses, inner ear inflammation, or little stones forming in your ear canaldisrupting the balance.

But regardless of the cause, there’s a superstar vitamin that can save the day when it comes to fighting off the miserable condition.

I’m talking about Vitamin D.

A new research study by scientists out of the American Academy of Neurology, published in the journal Neurology, found that Vitamin D twice a day may prevent vertigo.

There are two main types of vertigo

The first is feeling dizzy or lightheaded (such as when you stand up quickly), and the other is when you’re feeling as if the room is spinning

There’s a particular spinning-type of vertigo called Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), where certain head positions (like looking up at a tree) cause the world to spin.

BPPV is the most common type of vertigo and happens to be the one the study team investigated.

The study looked at 957 people with BPPV and gave them 400 IU of Vitamin D and 500 milligrams of calcium twice daily

The people in the study had a 24 percent reduction in Vertigo symptoms

Incredibly, people with low levels of vitamin D at the start of the study AND were given Vitamin D had a 45 percent reduction of symptoms!

How Vitamin D works has not been figured out yet, but it is something you should be taking every day for its many health benefits
