The Fool-Proof Way to BEAT Cancer
Lots of my patients live in fear of cancer.
And who can blame them?
We all know and how quickly it can change your life… and the lives of your loved ones.
But here’s some good news…
There’s actually a foolproof way to slash your risk of ever getting cancer.
And it’s something you can start TODAY.
We’ve known for years that being overweight increases your risk for heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and lots more.
Now, a new study shows that excess weight and diabetes put you on the fast track to cancer.
A new study, published in the Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology Journal, suggests that 6% of cancers are caused by excess weight and diabetes.
We’re talking about THOUSANDS of cancers here… and, frankly, I think their number is way too low.
I’ve written before about how cancer is an “obligate glucose feeder” (meaning: it exclusively lives off sugar). So, this new study comes as no surprise.
Losing weight is something that’s well within your control.
Is it always easy? Not necessarily… but it’s a lot easier than changing your genetic code or other risk factors that can lead to cancer.
In addition to losing weight, you need to maintain healthy blood sugar levels.
Here’s how to do it:
Dr. Scott’s Balanced Blood Sugar Approach:
- Eat Well: Make sure that sugar is only an occasional visitor to your plate. Eating well means avoiding processed foods, eating good proteins, and loading up on as many veggies as you can. Staying away from sugar, grains, and starchy vegetables also helps. If you are going to eat sugar, then do it near a meal (this slows down sugar absorption).
- Exercise: Don’t feel you must run a marathon to be in shape. Choose walking, golfing, tennis… they can all help your body deal with sugar more effectively.
- Inflammation: Buy some cheap health insurance by taking supplements that keep your inflammation low: I like fish oil, curcumin, and Boswellia.
- Blood Sugar Help: Berberine is an herbal extract that is great for the brain and helps to control blood sugar. Chromium is a mineral and is well-known to help manage blood sugar.
Take a few positive steps today to bring your blood sugar under control. You’ll be a lot healthier for it – and you’ll lower your cancer risk in the bargain.
