You’re eating right… do some daily movement… and taking your supplements.
But if you’re skipping this fun hobby, you’re not doing everything you can to extend your life.
You see, researchers have found that participating in the fun activity can help you fight disease…
And even LIVE LONGER!
If you’re not already playing golf, you should be.
This sport is good for your mobility, heart, and mental health.
And now we know it can tack on a few years to your life.
A new study, published in the Journal of Cardiovascular Health, tracked heart disease and stroke in nearly 5,900 adults over the age of 65 and found that folks playing golf just once a month improved their health.
Each participant in the study underwent extensive health exams every six months for over 10 years.
At the end, the golf players had a 15.1 percent rate lower of death compared to non-golfers.
Think about that for a second. This could mean the difference between seeing your grandson graduate from college or not.
And all you have to do is hit the links!
I’m a big believer in exercise as a path to health, but I think mainstream media makes exercise sound like a ton of work – so most people give up before they even try.
But getting out and playing a round of golf is something anyone can do once a month.
But this just isn’t about golf: it could be tennis, pickleball, bowling, gardening… or anything else that gets you out and moving.
