The Truth About This Blood Sugar Test

Dear Reader,

If your mainstream doc has ever tested you for type 2 diabetes, you already know how miserable waiting for the results can be.

Because having healthy blood sugar can mean the difference between aging well and not.

So when you get the all-clear, you’re probably happy.

But you shouldn’t start celebrating yet.

Because according to a recent study, one of the most popular blood sugar tests is giving FALSE results.

Here’s what you need to know.

I’m talking about the hemoglobin A1C test.

It’s the mainstream’s gold standard test when it comes to diabetes because it’s supposed to show your average blood sugar level over a two-to-three month period.

But according to a new study, presented at the Endocrine Society’s annual meeting, this is NOT the case.

For the research, scientists gave 9,000 people without diabetes multiple blood sugar tests, including A1C and an oral glucose tolerance test.

It turns out that the A1C test missed the diabetes diagnosis 73% of the time.

This means that nearly three-fourths of people that take the A1C test could have diabetes and NOT KNOW IT.

Fortunately, the oral glucose tolerance test was able to accurately determine whether or not a participant had diabetes.

So, the next time your doc suggests the A1C test for diabetes… tell him NO!

Instead, ask for the oral glucose test.

This will ensure you get the most accurate blood sugar results.

If you’re worried about your blood sugar, there are some easy steps you can take to balance it. Things, like cutting carbs, getting regular exercise, and losing weight can all help you stop diabetes before it starts.

P.S. Diabetes is no joke. Which is why you’ll want to read how you can SLASH your risk of type 2 diabetes by a staggering 40 percent! Click here now.
