THESE Drugs Up Your Flu Risk (SHOCKING!)

When it comes to fighting the flu, the mainstream gets it wrong every time.

Conventional docs push useless shots and dangerous nasal spray.

Even worse? They’ll send you home with a risky drug that DOES NOTHING to fight the flu.

In fact, new research shows this class of drugs actually “turns off” your immunity… making you a sitting duck for the flu.

Here’s how to avoid it.

I’m talking about antibiotics.

These widely overprescribed drugs are linked to superbug infections… stomach issues… and even blood sugar problems.

For years, we’ve known that these drugs don’t work for viruses like the flu because they only kill bacteria.

But what we didn’t know until now is that they can make you more susceptible to colds and flu.

In a recent study, researchers gave mice antibiotics for two weeks and then infected them with a virus.

As it turns out, the antibiotic use made the mice MORE LIKELY to suffer from the infection… and for a longer period of time.

When scientists took a closer look, they discovered this happens because antibiotics “turn off” an immune signal called interferon, which helps kill viruses before they have a chance to attack.

To further test their theory, they performed fecal implants from non-antibiotic exposed mice, hoping it would restore their interferon levels returned to normal.

AND IT WORKED!

That’s because the healthy bacteria in your stomach are responsible for activating your immune response. And when you take an antibiotic, it kills off these good bugs.

This means the best way to stay healthy this flu season is to avoid unnecessary antibiotics.

And if you want to add an extra layer of immune protection eat fermented foods – like sauerkraut, real pickles, miso, and yogurt – to promote a healthy gut and boost immune function.

Or you can pick up a probiotic supplement at your local pharmacy.
