This 50-Year LIE Could Kill You!

It’s the sham health advice that put millions of Americans at risk.

Maybe even you or someone you love.

For decades, we were told to avoid fatty foods… we were even told to load up on sugar-packed carbs instead.

And we ended up with epidemics of obesity, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s (which is strongly linked to high blood sugar) to show for it.

But, believe it or not, the sugar industry knew 50 years ago that their product was killing us.

And instead of coming clean, they lied about it and gambled with our lives.

Here’s the story you were NEVER supposed to hear… and the simple way you can GUARANTEE you’re always eating healthy.

Researchers at the University of California, San Francisco recently unearthed studies supported by the sugar industry.

The so-called Project 259: Dietary Carbohydrate and Blood Lipids was launched in 1968. The study was funded by the International Sugar Research Foundation (ISRF) and conducted by the University of Birmingham in England.

The results of their studies showed the eating tons of sugar increased heart disease and bladder cancer.

So, what did the sugar industry do?

Instead of doing the right thing, the sugar industry squashed the study and the results.

If that wasn’t bad enough, they also paid a group of Harvard scientists to press the blame for heart disease on fat in our diet instead of sugar.

Congress bought the charade and we have had 50 years of faulty health advice on what we should be eating. The Federal Government’s Dietary Guidelines have long said sugar is a source of calories, but is otherwise fine for you to eat and it was fat that would kill us.

An avalanche of recent studies has shown the opposite (but still the Dietary Guidelines remain unchanged). Sugar is bad for your health and is the reason for heart disease, diabetes, cancer, Alzheimer’s, and obesity.

Now that we have all this new research, we don’t have to worry about the sugar industry, right?

Wrong.

In 2015, The New York Times reported that Coca-Cola paid scientists to distract the public from the connection between sugar and obesity. Another article broken by the Associated Press said candy makers funded bogus research suggesting that kids who eat candy weigh less than those who don’t.

All I can say is watch out, the sugar industry is out for your money and your health.

Your best bet for health is to eat a diet high in vegetables and good proteins and keep sugars as low as possible.
