THIS Superfood STOPS Cancer
I’ve said it before… and I’ll say it again… FOOD IS MEDICINE!
Incredible plants like onions, garlic, and broccoli don’t just taste good… they also keep your heart, brain and blood sugar healthy.
Now we know there’s a powerful superfood that can STOP cancer, too.
And it’s especially important for men.
For a new study, researchers analyzed the diets and cancer rates of more than 36,00 men for up to 25 years.
At the end, they found that men who regularly eat specific mushrooms – shitake, maitake, and turkey tail – had a lower prostate cancer risk.
In fact, senior men eating these mushrooms reduced their risk of prostate cancer by a WHOPPING 17 percent.
And they still got these same incredible results regardless of their other lifestyle choices like poor diet, smoking and lack of exercise.
Participants who ate around 7.6 grams of mushrooms a day were the most likely to see a benefit.
Mushrooms work because they contain powerful disease-fighting molecules, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants.
Mushrooms also restore cellular imbalance resulting from a poor diet.
Yes, you can eat any mushroom you find at your grocery store – all mushrooms have benefits.
But, the mushrooms with the most bang for your buck are the ones from the study – shitake, maitake, and turkey tail.
If you are dealing with cancer or want to prevent it, I would suggest using a supplement to ensure you are getting it every day.
Mushrooms are fungi and fungi are under attack by some of the same foes that attack us – mushrooms get viruses, bacteria, and even cancer-like growths.
Since mushrooms have to battle those enemies, they produce molecules that are anti-bacterial, anti-virus, and anti-cancer.
Guess what happens when we eat those mushrooms? Those powerful molecules help us fight bacteria, viruses, and cancers.
