Ticking Time Bomb FOUND in Seniors’ Cells

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

Getting older is both a blessing and a curse.

You can be happy for all that you have seen, done, and accomplished in your life.

But entering your golden years also comes with more aches, pains… and sometimes even chronic disease.

Now, research out of the University of Colorado suggests there is something lurking in the over three trillion cells that make up your body.

If you’re a senior, this ticking time bomb could be hiding out in your cells.

In a new study, researchers discovered that folks over the age of 60 could have cells with cancerous mutations.

Not only that, they found that that could mean at least 100 billion cancer-causing cells in a single person.

That is a LOT of pre-cancerous cells!

Leading up to this discovery, researchers had obtained data on various tissue samples. Some were samples taken from within the colon, others were taken from the skin.

They found that not only were cell mutations more likely in seniors, they also identified that the mutated cells in some tissues were more likely to develop into cancer.

The good news is, that your body takes care of the vast majority of those cells without even skipping a beat.

In fact, according to the U.S. National Cancer Institute, 60 percent of folks will never develop cancer.

But to gain an edge against cancer, you have to take an active role.

Here are some easy tips to get started.

Dr. Scott’s Anti-Cancer Health Program

  • Vitamin C. A high dose of vitamin C has been shown in many studies to help support cancer treatment.
  • Ginseng. This is an herb that also has numerous studies that supports its use for fighting cancer.
  • Turmeric. This spice has been shown to help with breast cancer, bowel cancer, stomach cancer, and skin cancer cells.
  • Immune-boosting mushrooms. These medical mushrooms have thousands of studies that show they’re helpful in boosting the immune system, reducing the spread of cancer cells, and killing cancer cells.
  • Eat enough fiber. This will not only help with regular bowel movements, but will also help stimulate healthy bacterial growth. I always suggest that people take both water soluble and water insoluble fiber. One of my favorite fibers is ground flax seeds.
  • Exercise.  Moving your body around helps to remove toxins, brings in fresh oxygen and nutrients – all things that cancer hates.

P.S. If you’re worried about cancer, there’s something you should see. One study found that these 2 medications could INCREASE your cancer risk. Click here to read more.
