Apple Cider Vinegar

Weird Brown Liquid Torches Fat

The natural health community has been OBSESSED with apple cider vinegar for years.

I’ve heard claims that it can erase 30 years from your age… eliminate dandruff… make acne disappear… and even change the oil in your car.

OK, I made up that last one.

But there’s been so much hype about apple cider vinegar that it’s been tough to tell what’s true… and what isn’t.

Well, that’s what I’m here for.

Because, as a doctor, I’ve found that there’s one thing that apple cider vinegar does really well.

The good news? It’s something that could end up saving your life.

You know by now that carrying around too much weight can shorten your life.

But apple cider vinegar, while it’s not a cure-all, can be useful for keeping your weight in check.

Apple cider vinegar has two primary health benefits:

  • Speeding up your fat metabolism
  • Helping your body switch to burning fat
    Who wouldn’t want that?

Acetic acid is the main ingredient in apple cider vinegar, but it also contains, diacetic acid (also known as acetoacetic acid) which is a ketone. Having more ketones in your body “teaches” your body to burn fat for energy.

It also contains malic acid—which converts into a ketone.

Apple cider vinegar has been shown in rats to help with weight loss, and a study out of Japan in people has shown the same.

But the benefits don’t stop there, apple cider vinegar helps:

  • Keep your appetite in check
  • Absorb minerals
  • Maintain healthy blood sugar (which also supports weight loss)

My experience is that it takes a while to see results on the scale.

You are much better when you take a whole-body approach to weight loss that includes balancing blood sugar (with supplements like curcumin, berberine, chromium) and eating a low-sugar diet.

So, is apple cider vinegar the cure-all you’ve been looking for? No, it’s not, but it is a good addition to your weight-loss regimen.
