Well-Known Supplement Is “Exercise in a Bottle!”

Dear Reader,

Happy New Year! I hope it’s already off to a great start.

Mine is already underway – and full of new research to share with you.

And every once in a while, one of these studies makes me smile.

Like today — imagine my surprise when I discovered a well-known supplement (that is great for tired and sore joints) also happens to keep your heart in tip-top shape

It’s a win-win for your health.

And incredibly enough, the scientists in the study even go so far as to suggest that this pill is like “exercise in a bottle.” It’s that good

In fact, it works so well that it even reduces all-cause mortality by a whopping 39 percent…

I’m talking about glucosamine.

Glucosamine is made up of part glucose (sugar) and part amino acid (protein). Glucosamine has been used as a dietary supplement for very long time. It’s particularly popular among athletes and anyone who has joint pain

Now I thought that was the end of the story…

But a NEW study from West Virginia University, published in the Journal of The American Board of Family Medicinefound that the benefits of glucosamine go even further…

The new study found that glucosamine supplements reduce the risk of cardiovascular (heart) related death and even death in general (known as all-cause mortality).

Researchers looked at data from 16,686 people and examined eight years of their health.

Even after accounting for various factors (such as age, sex, smoking habits, and exercise levels) the researchers found taking glucosamine and chondroitin on a daily basis for at least a year was linked to a 39 percent drop in allcause mortality (mostly due to less heart disease).

In fact, the researchers suggested glucosamine reduces death and improves heart health as much as regular exercise

How would you like to take a pill instead of exercise?

Scientists have yet to put it all together – they don’t know have all the answers on how it works.

So for now, especially if you are older, your joints could probably use a little glucosamine – go ahead and pick some up.

P.S. Are you a heart attack survivor? If so, you know just how precious each day is, and I bet you’d do just about anything to make sure you have many more days ahead. Well luckily, there’s a way to BOOST your longevity – even after a heart attack! Click here for all of the details.
