Forbidden Snack BOOSTS Weight Loss! (YUM)

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

I don’t know about you, but when someone tells me I CAN’T do something, it makes me want to do it even more!

Whether it’s biking 30 miles in one day or climbing a difficult mountain trail, I love to prove people wrong.

And when it comes to dieting, it’s FULL of “no’s”… which can make it incredibly difficult to lose weight.

Because telling someone they can’t have something makes it even more tempting.

That’s why I love getting to tell you that “off-limits” foods are good for you!

A new study shows that this forbidden and DELICIOUS snack can actually improve your health… and shed pounds!

Good news for all the cheese heads out there— this tasty food WON’T pack on the pounds.

Most people avoid adding cheese to their snack plate because they think it’s fattening. But it’s NOT!

Adding more cheese to your diet could actually HELP you lose weight… and give you beneficial nutrients.

And there are quite a few studies to back this up.

The first is found in the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine. The study tracked the diets of 120,887 American adults for several decades.

First, they found exactly what you’d think: processed meats, potatoes and potato chips, sodas, and refined grains were linked with weight gain.

But they also discovered something else.

When they looked at cheese consumption, they found that it was right smack dab in the middle… meaning it neither caused weight gain or harm to the participants’ health!

Then a 2018 study took a look at the diets of 2,512 men over five years. They found that eating cheese helped rev up weight loss!

The most nutritious cheeses were gouda, mozzarella, and gorgonzola.

You might worry that cheese has saturated fats, but you know that saturated fats are actually fine. It’s hydrogenated fats that are the devil.

Foods with saturated fats, like cheese, are filling, which is why they can help so much with weight loss.

Cheese is also a great source of muscle-building protein and vitamins A and B-12, along with zinc, phosphorus, and calcium.

But the best part about cheese is it’s low-glycemic. In other words, it doesn’t raise blood sugar much at all. In fact, a meal containing cheese can actually slow down the absorption of other sugars you might be eating, which is great for your overall blood sugar control.

So, next time you are searching for a snack, make sure you include a bit of cheese.

P.S. Mainstream doctors love to blame fat for high cholesterol, but it’s simply not true. Not only that, high cholesterol may not even be the culprit for heart disease. Find out the REAL truth about high cholesterol right here.
