Traveling Bacteria CAUSING Brain Disease? (Shocking)
Dear Living Well Daily Reader,
I have a story to tell you…
But it’s not for the faint of heart.
It’s a about a bacterium that travels a long distance in your body… and how that bacterium can quickly turn from friend to foe.
And once it hits your brain, you could be in big trouble.
Australian researchers have just discovered that a traveling bacterium could cause this brain disease.
Here’s everything you need to know.
Researchers at Griffith University in Australia have found something extraordinary… and more than a little scary.
They discovered that a bacterium called Chlamydia pneumoniae could cause Alzheimer’s disease.
Chlamydia pneumoniae is known for causing respiratory tract (nose, mouth, lung) infections.
How in the world did it get there?
Your sense of smell comes from a set of nerves that travel down from the brain into the nose – and this is the path scientists think the bacteria take to get into the brain.
Once in the brain, your glial cells respond to the invader and start depositing beta amyloid peptides, the hallmark plaque of Alzheimer’s disease.
Several weeks after infecting experimental animals’ brains with the Chlamydia pneumoniae bacterium, researchers noticed the whole cascade of events that lead to a brain with Alzheimer’s.
But this story has a surprise ending…
It’s not the bacterium that is a problem, it’s your immune system.
Chlamydia pneumoniae is already found in most people. It only becomes a problem when your immune system becomes stressed, unleashing the bacterium.
The bacterium then breaks through your immune system’s defenses and invades your lungs, landing you with pneumonia, or it invades your brain, potentially giving you Alzheimer’s.
So, let’s get your immune system in shape!
Dr. Scott’s Natural Immune Boosting Plan
- Eat powerful plants. Garlic, onions, ginger, and spices such as oregano and turmeric can all give your immune system the support it needs to kill invading bacteria.
- Make sure you get enough vitamins. Vitamins D, K, C, and A all have immune-supporting properties.
- Gut/Immune connection. You’ve probably heard already (from me!) how closely tied your immune system is to your gut. Improve your gut health by taking a probiotic every day.
- Supercharge your immune system. Certain herbs, such as goldenseal, echinacea, oregano oil, olive leaf extract, all help give your immune system the boost it needs to protect your body.
P.S. This easy daily trick could make you even stronger against a potential pneumonia infection.
