REVERSE Age-Related Inflammation NATURALLY
Have you checked in with your hypothalamus lately?
If you have NO clue where or even what a hypothalamus is, don’t worry. Most folks don’t.
Your hypothalamus is an area deep within your brain. It produces hormones that control mood, body temperature, heart rate, and hunger.
The hypothalamus is the LINK between your body’s electrical system (nerves) and its endocrine system (hormones). And if that sounds like a big deal, that’s because it IS.
The hypothalamus can help you HEAL or cause HARM. Knowing how to switch the healing ON and the harming OFF is key.

Many scientists feel the hypothalamus is a PRIMARY driver of aging. And I think they are onto something.
You see, that little area in your brain controls a lot of the inflammation that occurs throughout your body through neuroinflammatory signaling.
Neuroinflammatory signaling kicks in when you’re injured, have an infection, or are exposed to toxins, sending messages to the body to start the inflammatory process.
Inflammation isn’t ALL bad, of course. In fact, it’s just what you want when you’re hurt or infected.
The inflammatory process helps the body clear out infections, repair damage, and return the body to good health.
But inflammation becomes a problem when it’s turned on all the time.
When the inflammation process is permanently engaged, it does more harm than good, including hitting the fast-forward button on aging.
You can do a lot to tamp down inflammation, which I’ll share in just a moment. But first, I want to tell you about the results of an exciting study recently published in the journal PLoS Biology.
The research uncovered a surprising driver of neuroinflammation: the loss of menin.
Menin is a protein found in the hypothalamus. In an animal study, when researchers blocked menin from working, the mice developed reduced bone and skin density, mental impairments, and a shorter life expectancy.
But it worked in the opposite direction too. When scientists boosted menin levels in old mice, it led to thicker skin, stronger bones, enhanced memory and intelligence, and better balance.
The best news was that they found a way to boost menin by supplementing with the natural amino acid D-serine. And the researchers think we will one day use D-serine to fight cognitive decline and aging.
More research is needed, of course. But D-serine is a perfectly safe amino acid found in various foods, including nuts (especially peanuts, almonds, and walnuts), eggs, chickpeas, lentils, meat, and fish (especially shellfish).
And L-serine, which your body uses to make D-serine, is also widely available as a supplement.
But there are plenty of other ways to keep inflammation from ruining your life. So don’t stop there…
- Supplement with powerful natural anti-inflammatories such as fish oil, curcumin, and Boswellia.
- Exercise is a great way to keep inflammation in check. While it increases inflammation for about an hour after activity, levels then plummet, resulting in an overall decrease in inflammation.
- Avoid processed foods, vegetable oils, and too much sugar, all of which increase inflammation.
- Eat plenty of vegetables which naturally reduce inflammation.
- Your immune system, which controls inflammation, is closely tied to the health of your digestive tract. Make sure you’re getting enough healthy bacteria by taking a good probiotic.
P.S. Research has revealed ANOTHER powerful drug-free solution that can help dodge heading to an early grave. The team found a direct link between a low level of this ordinary vitamin and high inflammation levels. CLICK HERE for the details.
