Slash Cancer Risk 20%... By Doing LAUNDRY?!

You KNOW exercise is good for you.

Studies confirm doing it regularly cuts the risk of heart disease, depression, osteoporosis, and nearly any other disease you can name that plagues us as we age.

But let’s be realistic, not everyone is a gym rat or a marathon runner. Heck, for some folks, even the THOUGHT of exercising is exhausting!

Maybe that’s you. If so, I have some welcome news.

New research reveals you DON’T have to spend your day at the gym working yourself into a frenzy to claim some of those SAME powerful benefits.

A new study makes it clear… ALL exercise counts. And I mean that quite literally.

You see, every minute you’re not sitting slumped over your desk or parked on your couch is a moment when you’re “exercising.”

That trip upstairs to get your glasses you forgot? THAT’S exercise.

Doing the laundry? Yup THAT counts too

Washing the car, mowing the lawn, taking out the trash—you guessed it—ALL exercise.

Now I’m not saying you’re an exercising fiend just because you move around during the day. But I am trying to make a critical point.

The more active you are, the healthier you will be.

And that means unseating your seat more often and doing STUFF. Our bodies were MADE to move and more we do the better off we will be.

You don’t have to chain yourself to a treadmill to see measurable benefits, either. And that new study I mentioned earlier proves it.

Published in the journal JAMA Oncology, the study found that folks who can’t exercise (or don’t like to) can significantly reduce their cancer risk simply by just regularly moving their bodies.

The researchers surveyed 22,398 people about their daily activities and then carefully compared that data to their cancer risk.

Now, keep in mind this was an observational type study. So more research is needed. But the results were quite solid AND impressive.

They found that folks who did vigorous intermittent physical activity (think climbing stairs or making the bed) for 4.5 minutes a day had a 20 percent DROP in total cancer risk.

You can grab this same benefit for yourself by taking EVERY opportunity there is to move your body around as much as possible.

So instead of sending your spouse upstairs to get your glasses YOU should make the trip. (And do it with gusto!) And you should fight to see who GETS to take out the trash or clean the toilet.

It not only helps with your health, it will also help with your marriage. And I think that’s a bonus we can ALL live with.

P.S. You don’t have to run a marathon or be able to bench press your weight to reduce your diabetes risk. This 2-minute trick SLASHES blood sugar levels.
