Breast Cancer Treatments INCREASE Risk of 2 Chronic Diseases!?
Dear Living Well Daily Reader,
If you talk to the average mainstream doctor about breast cancer, he’ll probably advocate for chemotherapy.*****
A new study revealed that women who had chemotherapy had a much higher chance of developing hypertension (high blood pressure) and diabetes.
And I’m not surprised.
The article, which appeared in the Journal of Clinical Oncology, found that women were 16 percent more likely to get diabetes and high blood pressure if they’d had certain mainstream treatments.
Chemotherapy or endocrine (hormone) therapy increased their risk of diabetes by 23 percent, and radiation therapy increased the risk by 29 percent.
High blood pressure was increased by about 11 percent by radiation or hormone therapy.
What does this mean?
Well, I don’t think anyone who is getting chemotherapy or radiation thinks it’s not harmful.
I’ve seen a lot of cancer patients over the years, and I know that people have to make the choices that are best for them at that time.
If you’re someone who had to take chemo, radiation, or endocrine therapy, then you need to also make a plan to keep your heart health and blood sugar in check.
You can do so by maintaining a healthy weight, avoiding vegetable oils, getting in moderate exercise when possible, and trying an inflammation-fighting supplement like curcumin.
P.S. If you’d like to learn about more natural ways to fight breast cancer, than you have to see this “queen bee” treatment.
