Dial Down Blood Sugar Naturally [RIVALS Metformin!]

If you have diabetes, it’s almost certain that your conventional medical doctor put you on a blood sugar-lowering drug.

And there’s ALSO a strong possibility that the drug makes you feel terrible. Common side effects include gas, bloating, upset stomach, kidney issues, and fatigue.

Even worse, over time, these drugs become less effective. So even if you’re taking them precisely as prescribed, they might not be doing their job anymore.

The mainstream medicine solution is to pile on yet another prescription.

But popping even MORE pills and battling their sickening side effects ISN’T your only option.

In fact, new research reveals a DRUG-FREE way to dial down your blood sugar that rivals prescription meds.

All it takes is a little bit of your time. (And an open mind!)

If you cringe when you hear the words “mind-body,” you’re not alone. Many folks feel ANYTHING defined as a mind-body practice is too “woo” and “out there” to take seriously.

And to be honest, I get it. After all, these techniques have often been presented in environments that can make them seem mysterious or even just plain hippy-dippy silly.

But the truth is, practices like yoga and meditation are firmly grounded in science. They’ve been proven to work time and again. And there’s nothing mysterious about them.

Mind-body practices typically combine mental focus, controlled breathing, and movements. And they take advantage of the natural connection between our thoughts and emotions and our bodies to help improve our health and well-being.

Plus, they work remarkably well, as a new study published in the Journal of Integrative and Complementary Medicine proved yet again.

Researchers found that mind-body practices are almost as effective at reducing blood sugar as prescription drugs. And they do this without the nasty side-effects that come with these medications.

The meta-analysis-style study pooled data from 28 previous studies and found that practicing meditation, yoga, qigong, and mindfulness-based stress reduction lowered hemoglobin A1c levels (a measurement of blood sugar levels over time) which is on par with the leading diabetes drug metformin.

More research is needed to pinpoint WHY mind-body practices are so effective at lowering blood sugar.

But regardless of the cause, we KNOW it works. And there’s no reason not to get started on lowering your own blood sugar with one of these simple but powerful techniques.

You’ll find plenty of free instructional videos on YouTube for whatever mind-body technique you want to try. Or if in-person instruction is more your speed, check your local community or senior center for classes.

P.S. Research has found activities like gratitude, prayer, and meditation can LITERALLY add YEARS to your life. Find out how here.
